  1. Where a conductor operates at a temperature exceeding 90oC it shall be ascertained that the equipment connected to the conductor is suitable for the conductor operating temperature.

  2. Where cables in this table are connected to equipment or accessories designed to operate at a temperature not exceeding 90oC.  the current rating given in the equivalent table for 90oC thermosetting insulated cables (BS 7889, BS 7211) shall be used.

  3. The current carrying capacity in columns 2 to 5 are also applicable to flexible cable to BS 7211 table 3(b) where the cables are used in fixed insulation.
